Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before booking.
How much do you charge?
Pricing depends on the type of event, duration, and location. Get in touch for a quote — 054-848-2245 or info@yishai.show.
How long is a show?
For a full seated show, 50 minutes is the sweet spot. With a lively crowd it can run a bit longer, but never over an hour. Shorter sets of 10, 20, or 30 minutes are available too if you just want a highlight at your event.
For walkaround close-up magic during a reception or mingling, 2 hours is recommended, though 1 or 3 hours is also possible.
What size group do you perform for?
A private home show works great for as few as 5 or 6 people in the living room. Most events are around 50 guests, and up to 100 is very comfortable. Yishai has also performed for crowds of up to 300.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible. Booking months ahead is the best way to lock in your date. Leave it to a week or two before the event and there is a good chance the date is already taken.
Do you perform in English or Hebrew?
Both. Yishai performs fluently in English and Hebrew and can mix between them naturally depending on the crowd. Just let him know which you prefer when you book.
What types of groups do you work with?
Religious, non-religious, or a mix of both. The show works for all ages — a room with grandparents, parents, and kids is actually ideal. Adults-only events and teen groups work great too.
What types of events do you perform at?
Bar and bat mitzvahs, sheva berachos, corporate events, private home parties, birthdays, anniversaries, charity events, community gatherings, and stage shows. Both walkaround close-up magic and full seated mentalism shows are available.
What is the difference between a stage show and walkaround magic?
A stage show is a full seated performance for the whole room, usually 50 minutes. Walkaround magic is performed table by table during a reception or cocktail hour — intimate, up close, and personal. Many events combine both.
Do you travel outside Jerusalem?
Yes. Yishai performs anywhere in Israel — Tel Aviv, Beit Shemesh, Modi'in, Ra'anana, Netanya, Efrat, Eilat, and beyond.
